Baristas & Barbacks

Baristas are the heart of our retail operations, and where most employees start. Prior experience in coffee is not necessary, though we do value prior experience in the food & hospitality business generally. Full time (~35 hours a week) only, must be available both Saturday and Sunday. Shifts start as early as 6AM and go as late as 7:30 PM, and generally are 6-7 hours. Positions are available in Arlington & Cambridge.

Most employees will start as a barback during a 10 week provisional & training period, focused on developing basic skills & familiarity with our operations. If an employee is retained after the 10 week period, there will be opportunities for wage growth. Exceptions may be made for qualified & experienced candidates. This is an entry level position, but with many opportunities for progression within the specialty coffee industry. We provide significant training on the job.
